The University of Chicago Medical Center and Pritzker School of Medicine strive to nurture leaders who are committed to better serving the diverse populations in our community and throughout the country through a variety of community-based education programs.

Pritzker students begin medical school with a course on health care disparities and they can choose to participate in a four-year Community Health Scholars track.  Both students and residents have a chance to work with practicing doctors in community health centers that are part of the South Side Healthcare Collaborative throughout their training.
